Don Troutman is a pioneer in the recovery field and has been working in the field since 1989. He is the founder/owner of Clean & Sober Transitional Living in Fair Oaks, CA. Don graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fresno State University. He has over 2 years of post-graduate studies in addiction and continues to stay on the cutting edge in the field of recovery.
Don served on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Addiction Recovery Resources (CAARR) for 6 years from 2001 – 2007 and again in 2008-2009. He is the Chairman of the Sacramento Sober Living Committee and an active member of the California Legislative Committee on Addiction.
Jeanie got her start in recovery at Clean and Sober Living in 2004 as a resident. She started working for CSTL, INC in 2005 and continued to live at CSTL in Phase Two home for 3 years. She graduated from the CAARR Institute, (California Association of Addiction Recovery Resources) and became certified as a CAS (Certified Addiction Specialist) in 2007. Jeanie does an excellent job as General Manager of our company. She has a passion for recovery that spills over to the residents.
In recovery herself, Desiree is dedicated to improve the quality of life for those working on their own addiction. Between raising her daughter, working at CSTL, participating in 12 step meetings, and sponsoring a few ladies in recovery her days are more than full. She loves her position and looks at CSTL as one big family working towards the same goal. For Desiree her work at CSTL isn't really a job but a place that helps her stay centered in her own recovery.
Tom is a resident and has lived at CSTL for over two years. He has completed his CAS I courses and is more than 50% complete with his required internship work for certification as a Certified Addiction Recovery Specialist.
