My name is Jeb and I am 21 years old (2010). I have been in treatment for alcoholism and addiction 6 times. Once I really decided I had to change, I became willing to follow suggestions. During my last stay in treatment I was told my best shot at long-term sobriety was to move into a sober living environment immediately following treatment. I agreed and moved into CSTL in early April 2009 directly from my release.

I lived in Phase I for 3 months. During this time I got connected, found relationships, and built a solid foundation for sobriety in a safe and recovery-conducive environment. Here I was able to work out some of the heavy issues from my past and gain momentum in the program. I moved into Phase II for 6 months and enjoyed more freedom while still being surrounded by recovery orientated & supportive people.

While in Phase II I got a job where I am still employed today, returned to school and got involved in recovery service. CSTL has been an integral part of my recovery – it provided me with the security and support while I recreated my life and I am forever grateful. Today I live a wonderful life, clean and sober in Folsom, CA with two close friends in recovery and our dog "Roody". I work part time and attend undergraduate college in Folsom.
